This is a badass piece of engineering. A company called Evergreen Aviation is now retrofitting Boing 747's for use as giant flying fire extinguishers. On Monday they used one in Los Angeles (the first time one was used in the US). It worked so well the city of Los Angeles called it back the next day to help with the spreading wildfires.

Bigfoot is a graf artist responsible for designing I-Path's iconic logo. He held down many of the design/illustration duties at the brand for nearly a decade. When Timberland acquired I-Path in '07 (word has it) they immediately sacked Bigfoot for unknown reasons.

Japanese luxury streetwear brand A Bathing Ape used to see shoppers line up for days, sleeping on sidewalks for a chance to get their latest sneakers, hoodies and t-shirts. Monocle Magazine is sort of like a cross between "The Economist" and "Rolling Stone." It's an anomaly in the print world. Each issue costs $10 (there are 10 per year) but somehow a year-long subscription costs $150. I first heard of it when snobbish hip hop star Lupe Fiasco name-dropped the title in a song last year (alongside Goyard luggage and Head Porter wallets).
